Gelid launches GX-7 Rev. 2 CPU cooler

Adds Slim 12 PL Blue fan and GC-Extreme

Gelid Solution have launched a new revision of its quite impressive GX-7 CPU cooler, the GX-7 Rev. 2. As a part of the Gamer product line, the GX-7 Rev. 2 has some unique features that differentiate it from the rest of the competition and it has got some quite impressive praise from the reviewing community.

In order to make it just a bit better, Gelid has upgraded the GX-7 with Slim 12 PL Blue fan as well as GC-Extreme thermal compound. It also comes with a special array of seven heatpipes as well as a V-shaped aluminum fin heatsink that allows the airflow to reach the heatsink more evenly thus providing much better cooling performance.

When compared to the previous GX-7 cooler, the GX-7 Rev. 2 provides more room and better RAM clearance since it uses the Slim 12 PL Blue fan. It still supports AMD's AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1 sockets and Intel's 775, 1366 and latest 1155 and 1156 sockets.

The new Gelid GX-7 Rev 2 is backed by a 3-year warranty and will be available as of today with a MSRP of US $65 and €45.
