New CPU coolers and power supplies
During CES 2017 Cooler Master has announced a new products including CPU coolers and power supplies. During the past years Cooler Master has introduced several new CPU coolers and now they are refreshing their series. Following the trend, they’re also adding RGB lighting effects.
At CES 2017 Cooler Master has released two new AIO closed-loop series water coolers. The MasterLiquid Lite 120 features a 120x120x25mm radiator, FEP tubing and it will be available at a competitive price. The cooler also includes a 120mm fan which should be enough for any entry-level CPU.
In addition Cooler Master has shown their MasterLiquid Pro RGB series. These are also all-in-one closed-loop CPU coolers. To be a bit more precise there is the MasterLiquid Pro 120 RGB and the MasterLiquid Pro 240 RGB. As the name suggests, the first features a 120mm radiator while the second comes with a 240mm radiator. At the moment there any additional details about these new series but it looks like both models are basically refreshes of the current version, featuring RGB lighting elements.
Cooler Master also unveiled two new power supplies, one limited edition and another one available for the masses. The first model is the MasterWatt Author ME 1200W, which features 80+ Titanium efficiency rating. According to Cooler Master the internals are based on so called Murata components. Apart from that the vendor claims that this is the best power supply they’ve ever made so far. With a price tag of a staggering $1000US this unit won’t be for everybody. Therefore it doesn’t come as a surprise that MasterWatt Author ME 1200W is a limited edition.
Apart from that Cooler Master have also announced the MasterWatt Maker 1500W, which received the 80+ Titanium efficiency rating as well. Inside this digitally controlled power supply there are Japanese capacitors. At the moment Cooler Master has not revealed details on pricing and availability.
