LG has expanded its gaming monitor lineup by a 4K 32-inch monitor. The 32UD99 features an IPS panel with 95% of DCI-P3 colour space, therefore it is suitable for professional use. Apart from that the new displays are compatible with AMD FreeSync. In addition LG is working on a Chromecast integration for this monitor, that is slated to be presented during CES in January 2017.


The new LG 32UD99 monitor will come in a 32-inch panel and 3840 x 2160 Pixel resolution. It will also support USB Type-C which can even be used to display 4K content, charge a connected devices as big as notebooks. As we already mentioned LG is making use of an IPS panel which is HDR10 capable and suitable for professional use.

LG is going to show an ultra-wide 34UM79M display during the upcoming CES 2017 as well. This is going to be their first Chromecast compatible model, meaning that Chromecast has been implemented directly into the monitor, allowing the user to stream to the display without the need of an additional dongle. Furthermore there is support for AMD’s FreeSync technology and for the response time the vendor mentions 1ms. LG claims the display features wide colour space and increased brightness compared to traditional LCD displays and this should make the 34UM79M suitable for professionals such as photo and video editors as well.

So far LG has not revealed details on pricing and availability on their monitors but we are sure we will get to know more during the upcoming CES 2017.
