Cooler Master announces MasterCase Maker 5t

The turbo edition

Cooler Master has announced the launch of their latest MasterCase. The new Maker 5t is based on the original mid-tower launched last year during the Computex 2016 in Taipei and therefore it should be rather versatile.

The new MasterCase Maker 5t is an aggressive looking mid-tower, kept in black and red. It measures 544 x 242 x 574mm and is compatible with ATX motherboards. Unlike the Maker 5, that we reviewed a few months ago, the new Maker 5t adds two solid tinted panels made from tempered glass. In order to improve design and internal layout, Cooler Master added a rubber grip handle, which has been screwed directly to the top of the main chassis. In addition there is plenty of space for high-end builds. Cooler Master decided to also add GPU card holders in order to support them and make them not bend.

Having a look at the cooling side of this case, we find a fan controller using which you can manage up to six fans and four LED strips. Since the case is only available with a black and red color scheme, we’d recommend either red or white colored LED strips. The Cooler Master MakerCases are known for their customizability and the 5t is not an exception, allowing you to change features by installing new parts inside and outside the case. Due to this modular system, you can for example change the amount of disks and/or fans installed inside the case.

In general the MasterCase Maker 5t is an upgraded version of the basic Maker Series. It looks like Cooler Master has created a configuration with features based on the most common custom orders placed by customers. The only thing that is really sets this case apart from other Maker Series models is the color scheme.

The MasterCase Maker 5t should be available at local retailers in the beginning of December 2016 for a suggested price of 249 Euro.
