Point of View is no more, declares bankruptcy

Another AIC partner bites the dust

According to some reports, a once well-known Nvidia AIC partner, Point of View, has declared bankruptcy and will not longer be selling graphics cards.

Established in 2000, Point of View has been around since Nvidia FX 5000 series days and mostly focused on European sales, pushing its graphics cards to more than 30 European countries. With the downfall of GPU sales, Point of View tried whatever it can to stay afloat, which included selling tablets and other things.

The latest move was the new POV TGT lineup, that were high-end factory-overclocked graphics cards but that obviously was not enough.

Point of View was always Nvidia exclusive partner and while some switched sides, POV stayed true until the end.

We will remember them fondly, wish them well on their next endeavors and hopefully there won't be any other GPU companies that will say farewell soon, as we surely need competition in that part of the market.
