Lian Li unveils new Gold and Platinum SFX-L PSUs

550W and 750W versions

Lian Li has unveiled two power supply units with SFX-L form-factor, the 550W PE-550 and the 750W PE-750.

Although mostly known for their high-quality aluminum cases, Lian Li is obviously going into PSU business and it will start with two new SFX-L PSUs.

Both new PSUs from Lian Li feature a single +12V rail design, are fully modular with flat ribbon cables and use a bottom placed 120mm fan for cooling. The SFX-L form-factor is slightly longer at 120mm compared to the standard SFX form-factor, limited at 100mm. Both the PE-550 and the PE-750 also come with SFX-to-ATX adapter in case you decide to use them in ATX or mini-ATX PC cases.

Both units also feature Active PFC and all the usual protections and come with 80 Plus Gold rating for the 550W model and 80 Plus Platinum rating for the 750W model. The 550W model comes with two PCIe 6+2 connector while the 750W model has four. The PE-550 provides 45A on its +12V rail while the 750W model pushes 62A.

The warranty is set at 2 years and these should be appearing in retail/e-tail shops soon.
