Cooler Master announces Case Mod winners

For Case Mod World Series 2016

Cooler Master has now announced the winners of the Case Mod World Series 2016 which has been going since January and which included over 120 worklogs and entries with 82 reaching final submission.

The winners were selected in two categories, Scratch Build and Tower Mod as well as two winners selected by the community, know as People's Choice Awards.

There were plenty of interesting builds including demons, giant critters, cyborgs, orbs, and monsters and some of the biggest names in the modding community, including Peter Brands, Richard Keirsgieter, Richard Surroz, Ronnie Hara, Brian Farrell, Ermanno Bonandini and Antony Leather were giving away scores which picked the winners.

In Scratch Build category, the first place went to Ghost Rider mod by Modder Crow, Thailand, second place to Re.born mod by Masbuskado, Dominican Republic and the third place was snatched by GSW CYBORG mod by Nenad Milic, Serbia. In the Tower mod category, first place went to Master of Dimension mod by Mr. Waii, Thailand, second place went to Gigantea mod by David Cathey, United States and third place went to Master X5 mod by neSSa, Serbia.

People's Choice Awards went to TriHexa 666 - Apocalypse Dragon mod made by Kanishka Akalanka, Sri Lankain the scratch build category while Tower Mod category winner was Pandora Box Pegasus mod made by Allyson Carneiro, Brazil.

The winners took US $30,000 in cash and prizes, including some impressive hardware from sponsors like Avexir, OCZ, Asus, Nvidia, Dremel, and Cooler Master.
