Alleged Radeon RX 480 benchmark appears online

Scores P14461 in 3DMark 11

An alleged Radeon RX 480 3DMark 11 benchmark has appeared online showing it hit P14461 score.

The benchmark result has been spotted at the official 3DMark database and although it does not mention the Radeon RX 480 by name, the 67DF:C7 device ID for this card has been already revealed during Polaris Tech Day.

The Radeon RX 480 gets P14461 in 3DMark 11 which is just above the minimum specification for VR, which is based on Geforce GTX 970 graphics card. Bear in mind that this is a 8GB version and 4GB one could have a slightly lower score. The performance is very impressive especially considering that this is a US $199 priced graphics card.

While AMD AIB partners might not be able to hit US $199 mark since custom factory-overclocked versions will be available from day one, it is still a great card, offering impressive performance for its price and makes the VR gaming a whole lot cheaper.
