While we already knew that Intel should launch its new Skylake CPUs in a matter of days, we now have a first leaked picture of a retail package box of both the the Core i7-6700K and the Core i5-6600K CPUs.
While most of the specifications and features, as well as recently leaked benchmarks have already leaked online, there is not much to talk about and all we need now is to wait for them to officially launch on August 5th, alongside the Intel Z170 Express chipset motherboards.
In case you missed it, both the Core i7-6700K and the Core i5-6600K will be unlocked, making overclockers quite happy. Both will also pack support for dual-channel DDR4 and DDR3L memory and features Intel HD Graphics 530 IGP.
The Core i7-6700K is a quad-core part with Intel Hyper-threading enabled, packs 8MB of cache and works at 4.0GHz base clock with 4.2GHz Turbo. The Core i5-6600K is also a quad-core part, but lacks Hyper-threading support, packs 6MB of cache and works at 3.5GHz base and 3.9GHz Turbo clocks.
