Nonostante Apple non abbia chiamato il suo smartwatch iWatch, è stato chiamato così in un gran numero di rumor prima del lancio. Adesso, che Apple ha lanciato il prodotto, la compagnia che ha registrato il nome iWatch, ha deciso di fare causa al colosso di Cupertino.


The company, which owns the trademark is called Probendi. On 26th of June Probendi filed a suit. The company is bringing up the point that when you search the internet for "Apple Watch" "iWatch" is being display. According to a report on Bloomberg, Perendi is stating that Apple has used the iWatch wording to drive traffic to their website. Apart from that Perendi is expecting the trademark to be worth 97 Million US-Dollar.

Probendi brought up the concerns that they addressed Apple already and the never came back with a reply. There will be a hearing on the lawsuit taking place on 11th of November. Probendi wanted to come up with their own Android smartwatch, which they would have called iWatch.
