Corsair unveils their Neutron XT SSDs at CES 2015

High-capacity SSDs

Corsair has decided to launch its latest Neutron Series XT line of high-capacity SSDs at CES 2015, which will be available in 240, 480 and 960GB capacities and offer sequential read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 540MB/s.

Aimed at gamers and enthusiasts, Corsair's new Neutron Series XT SSDs will be based on a standard 2.5-inch 7mm-thick form-factor making them suitable for both desktops as well as notebooks and will, as noted, offer sequential read and write performance of up to 560MB/s and 540MB/s. The Neutron Series XT SSD lineup is based on Phison controller paired up with MLC NAND memory.

As it was the case with previous Corsair SSD lineups, the Neutron Series XT comes with Corsair's SSD ToolBox software that allows you to easily update drive firmware, optimise operating system performance, clone an existing hard drive, or securely erase all data on the drive

According to Corsair, the new Neutron Series XT SSDs should be available immediately with a price set at US $149.99 for the 240GB version, $269.99 for the 480GB version and $539.99 for the 960GB version.
