Club 3D launches USB 3.0 to 4K graphics adapter

New chipset for 4K UHD output

Club 3D has unveiled a new range of USB 3.0 graphics adapters, which are a part of Club 3D's SenseVision product range, including the world's first adapter capable of outputting 4K/UHD 3840x2160 resolution, the Club 3D USB 3.0 to 4K Graphics Adapter (CSV-2302).

According to Club 3D, the new adapter uses new DisplayLink DL-5500 chipset in order to push enough pixels via USB 3.0 and provide 4K/UHD 30Hz output to DisplayPort capable 4K monitors. While it can output 4K/UHD resolution, the adapter is also backward compatible with QHD and HD monitors with DisplayPort 1.2 interface and also features HDCP 2.0 for protected video playback as well as integrated DisplayPort audio.

The CSV-2302 adapter itself measures just 75x44x14mm and weighs 50g which also makes it suitable for travel and use with various notebook. According to Club 3D, the new USB 3.0 4K adapter uses very little system resources and once the drivers are installed you will be able to plug in monitors without the need for a system reboot. It will also offer several modes including Mirror and Extended Mode.

In addition to the USB 3.0 4K CSV-2302 adapter, Club 3D also launched the CSV-2301 USB 3.0 to DisplayPort 1600p adapter and the CSV-2300D USB 3.0 to DVI-I graphics adapter which can output 1152p resolution.
