Intel's upcoming 2014 enthusiast Haswell-E Halo platform will have quite a few upgrades and changes when it launches in the Q2 of 2014, as according to slides, it will bring 8-core CPU with up to 20MB of L3 cache.

ASRock made quite some noise during Computex regarding the protective Conformal Coating layer that protects the Z87 OC Formula from a couple of accidents and has now announced that those two motherboards, the Z87 OC Formula/ac (with 802.11ac WiFi) and the Z87 OC Formula will be backed by a 5-year warranty.

AMD
AMD's A10-6800K Richland APU might not be that much impressive when compared to previous Trinity chips but it looks like it will be quite famous with overclockers as Finnish overclocked The Stilt managed to get it all the way up to 8GHz.

Microsoft
While it did not impress the gaming community at E3 show and was pretty much pushed into oblivion by Sony and its Playstation 4 press conference, Microsoft had no chance but try and pull a fast one at E3 by swapping "alleged" Xbox One experience with a full PC system based on quite impressive hardware.

Gigabyte
During Computex, Gigabyte has officially unveiled its new Geforce GTX Titan graphics that actually comes bundled with the Windforce 3X cooler. The reference cooled GTX Titan in the bundle is factory overclocked but should be quieter and sustain GPU Boost for longer time when paired up with Windforce 3X cooler.

We've reported quite a few times now, that Christian Ney had been invited to Computex by G.Skill this year to perform extreme overclocking live on stage. During the event Chris place a few GoPro cameras to tape as much as possible. Finally he found the time to do the editing and meanwhile there is a bit more than five minutes on YouTube for you to check out.

As it was rumored earlier, Nvidia is preparing the launch of the new Geforce GTX 760 graphics card that is based on the 28nm Kepler architecture and should hit retail/e-tail sometime next week. Luckily, we now have some of the first picture of custom graphics cards as well as some specifications rumored earlier.

Today we've done something we don't usually do. We tested a watercooler that was specifically designed for motherboards. There haven't been a lot of reviews on ocaholic regarding custom watercooling components, which is one thing we want to change during this year. In this case we've had a closer look at EK's custom block for ASRock's Z77 Extreme11 high-end motherboard and it turns out that it makes quite some sense to use this watercooler over the standard coolers, especially in a high-end rig.

Both Intel and AMD have recently started to pay a lot of attention to overclocking but Intel is apparently pulling a bit away from it by stating that not all CPUs are meant for overclocking and that enthusiast community should go for those CPUs with K suffix rather than those non-K aimed at business and mainstream customer market.

During its live OC Event at Computex 2013 G.Skill actually managed to shatter a total of six overclocking world records, thanks to an impressive G.Skill extreme performance DDR3 memory and professional overclockers, including our own Christian Ney.

Intel has sent out official statements to site that covered the previous rumor that company will leave the branded server motherboard business, stating that such rumors are untrue and that Intel has no plans to give up that part of the market.

Gigabyte has announced yet another member of the GTX 700 series, the Gigabyte Geforce GTX 770 Windforce 3X OC 4GB. Based on a custom Gigabyte PCB, Windforce 3X cooler and factory overclock, the new GTX 770 Windforce 3X OC will also feature 4GB of GDDR5 memory.

According to a report over at The Tech Report, that refer to an unnamed AMD source, it appears that AMD's upcoming FX-9000 series will initially be indeed limited to system integrators but that AMD is currently considering all other options in order to bring to retail.
